Guild,

I know this is random, but I'm a huge music lover. I thought this would give us a better idea of music interests in the guild and what we have in common. Also, I'm always trying to find new artists. What I've done is made 2 top 5 lists (electronic genre and rock/pop/alternative). I put some examples of songs (not my favorites necessarily, just an idea of what to check out if you've never heard 'em). I encourage you guys to respond with similar lists so we can see the favorites of guildies.

Electronic Music Top 5:
1. The Chemical Brothers: Life is Sweet, Setting Sun
2. Underworld: Crocodile, Moaner, Born Slippy
3. Breakbeat Era: Ultra-Obscene
4. Basement Jaxx: Take Me Home, Kish Kash
5. M.I.A.: Sunshowers, U.R.A.Q.T.

Rock/Alt/Pop/Rap Top 5:
1. White Stripes (The best rock band of all time, IMO): Seven Nation Army, Fell In Love With a Girl
2. Tori Amos: Talula, Caught a Light Breeze
3. Beastie Boys: Sure shot, Get it Together
4. Soul Coughing: True Dreams of Wichita, St. Louise is Listening
5. Skunk Anansie: Tracy's Flaw, Charlie's Big Potato, On My Hotel T.V.

Honorable Mentions: The Knife, Esthero, All 80's New Wave Music (New Order Especially), and "Easy Listening" Electronic like Olive, Hooverphonic, and Portishead.

What I've been listening to lately: Adele, Squarepusher, Coldplay, Daft Punk, Amy Winehouse

"Yes, this is me whining about Eclipse again. I won't stop until I have that talent's head on a stick and can parade it around Stormwind crying "The witch is dead!""

And this is why Moonkin are one big happy family, regardless of Faction.

1) Miley Cyrus (Party in the U.S.A., The Climb)
2) The Jonas Brothers (Burnin' Up, S.O.S.)
3) Ashlee Simpson (L.O.V.E., Boyfriend)
4) Celine Dion (My Heart Will Go On, Because You Loved Me)
5) Spice Girls (Wannabe, Say You'll Be There)
Here's a few of my fave albums:

Johnny Cash: Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison (Live)
Daft Punk: Discovery
Peter, Paul and Mary: The Best of Peter, Paul and Mary
Social Distortion: Social Distortion

And forever immortal ye shall be.
I suddenly have an urge to watch High Fidelity.

Righteousness can remain a tanking seal.
So that's what I was doing wrong.
Twist: I love Regina Spektor. She's become the Tori Amos, and they're both awesome.

Glynnys: Yeah, I blatantly stole it. That movie rocks.

Necronus: I hope you get raped by the backstreet boys.

Phoof: All I know from your list is Billy Joel, Barenaked Ladies, and Sixpence.

A top 5 is impossible, but here's 5 albums that I really dig as albums.

Sublime - Sublime
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III
Beastie Boys - In Sound From Way Out
DJ Shadow - Product Placement
Rodrigo y Gabriela - Rodrigo y Gabriela

Like Nas, it's easier to put down albums. Here's five from my "Stranded on a Desert Island" list.

1) Queen - Live at Wembley Stadium
2) Van Halen - Right Here, Right Now
3) Our Lady Peace - Live
4) Nightwish - Dark Passion Play
5) Dream Theatre - Live at Budokan

I actually saw Dream Theater live in Delaware. I remember sneaking out of bed after my bedtime and watching them on Headbanger's Ball at like 1am with my brother. Good times, good times.
